These disorders are on the rise, with experts saying that mental disorders in teenagers are at an all-time high. Teenage mental illness symptoms can be difficult to discern, as most average teens are at least somewhat moody and emotional during this time of dramatic physical and mental changes. Rabbi Shimon Russell, LCSW, a world renowned psychotherapist, will lead an intense day of awareness and understanding. He will explain the underlying issues as to why a child leaves Yiddeshkeit. Rabbi Russell has been guiding and mentoring Parents and professionals for over 25 years on how to support and guide children going through a painful journey. In order to know what to do, first we must understand the why. Kol Haneshamot, located in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel, focuses primarily on helping the parents and families of teens at risk, providing them with guidance and the tools necessary to provide first aid to their struggling teen.
